An excellent win in our final match of a very successful season in which the two set objectives (to gain promotion and involve all active members of the club) were achieved.
We can congratulate ourselves on a job well done.

Meridians 5 - Ransomes 4

Once again we came unstuck with the dreaded flying birds. We whacked them as hard as we could until they were well-ruffled (losing out 30-28 in one game – a record?) but the opposition kept bringing new fully-fledged ones out of the box. Things were not made any better by the presence of a Finch that had escaped from its cage and kept twittering on the sidelines. Unfortunately, the opposition ended up chirping on their perch after the match.

They need more than Holy Wells or Holy Water to beat the likes of Ransomes. They need a Holy Miracle.

BSP given a sound hammering by a rampant Ransomes.

Ransomes 7 Bosmere 2 - Grit in abundance

No wonder there's a shortage of grit and salt for the roads - it's all at Ransomes. Grit in the form of pure determination and salt to rub into Bosmere's wounds after they suffered a second bruising by Ransomes. This abundance of grit and salt will ensure that Ransomes do not slip up no matter how hazardous the going may get. The path to the league title is being systematically cleared of all obstacles.
